Treasury and Liquidity: Navigating Market Volatility

What is on the table.

The question this session is built around, and why it matters now.

Volatility has stopped being an episode and become the operating environment. Rates, currencies, credit conditions and counterparties can all move at once, and treasury and finance leaders are expected to keep the organisation liquid, hedged and calm throughout.

This roundtable is a closed conversation among the people carrying that responsibility. It looks at how liquidity is being planned and stress-tested, how hedging strategies have been rethought, and how balance sheets are being built for resilience rather than simply for cost.

Participants speak from experience, in confidence, and leave with a clearer view of how their peers are handling the same pressures.

Themes we expect to cover.

The chair sets the question; the room decides where it goes. These are the threads most likely to run through the conversation.

Liquidity planning under stress

How far out leaders are planning, what scenarios they are running, and where the buffers now sit.

Hedging that fits the moment

Which risks are being hedged, which are consciously left open, and how the decisions are explained to the board.

Counterparty and funding resilience

Diversifying banks, facilities and instruments so that one shock does not become several.

Treasury's voice in the business

Turning a technical function into a strategic one when volatility is on every agenda.

Who is in the room.

Every seat is chosen for seniority, sector and a direct stake in the question. Guests are confirmed individually before an invitation is issued.
